If you make this photo bigger, you will see the tiny greenish white flowers on the Phorb. The clover to the left also has it's flowers on display. The photo will enlarge twice - once when you click it, and again when the target tool appears with a + inside of it. Enjoy! More to come if I can figure out true macros.

We have these little plants growing in our driveway too! Same plants growing such a long way apart and such different climate! |karen|
ReplyDeleteWow, they really like the abuse of cars running over them!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen, and thanks for the "Phorbs Report" for your region.
I am hoping to get more responses about this enigmatic little plant from others around the Planet. We have two types growing here, this one and a little greener one that the tortoises won't eat. The Torts all like the "milky" plants, thistles included.
But the Tortoises are eating it all up at such a rate that I will have to collect seeds to sow, or even transplant some plants from the front yard - and community open spaces - into their habitat. It looks like they will eat through their supply very soon.
