DH ordered a kit for testing for mercury in one's body from the Greenpeace website. The bad part was that you have to cut a fair amount of hair clear to the scalp. He had me cut some hair from the back of his head. He had gotten two kits but once I saw how much had to be cut off his head just to tip the little paper scale, I decided to just let him be the family guinea pig. Hair is a very touchy subject with me lately. Results later....
The weather has been very warm and dry. The whole shade patio area, all I'm allowed to water, is full of plants, hanging and otherwise, and all in little or biggish pots. It's exhausting to water them and a reduction is coming for them, poor little rooted ones.
I'm going to go rest now and knit all my rows for the UFO Anonymous(click on the blog link; it's a nice place for encouraging FOs). It's time to dig out a favorite DVD, something light, like "Pitch Black". Just joking! Tomorrow is my first PT day. They get to tell me what they can and can't do for me. =o)
Tomorrow is also ....
Jazzie's 11th Birthday! Lordy, he made it! Maybe we will rent a video with huge African ungulates in it, at which he can bark. Surely another candlelit meatball is in order. Or maybe another doggie treat. It's really fun to have another sentient being to spoil.
i love your new header picture!
