Sky Watcher Post
We had a hail storm, the loudest we can remember, and then this sunset. I haven't been out to look at the little tulips. I'm sort of afraid to look. So, since it's Saturday, this sky takes on a double meaning. A really dramatic sky like this rarely occurs on a Saturday in our Kingdom. You see, too many of the locals do anti-rain dances for weekends.
And now, knitting. The first of the cable crosses are made on the Aran. This pattern is going so well, *knocks on her wooden haid*, but there's something I have no idea what it means coming up in the pattern. The best thing to do would be to knit a swatch to see if it means what it looks like it means. Something that looks impossible to execute, but then, so do plain old cables. This one has a pull one to the front, knit three, and I presume knit the one in the back. I also have the sheer joy ( or possibly even sheer terror) of purling through the next set of mystery graph glyphics.
