She tempts the moths in with the scent. The whole pot had seven blossoms and is a hybrid of the white and dark pink. I love the way plants pointed the way to genetics. Not Eugenics mind you, that takes evil minds working in dark and sinister ways.
I like Nature's way, with a moth or a bee transfering pollen from the pink plants to the white ones, and changing them. All gentle, and at a pace with the natural rythm of life. Enjoy the posies.

And thank you for your comments :-)
ReplyDeleteAs usual, your flower pictures are stunning. Your piano will be a happy addition to someones home while your kitchen will be your happy addition.
Thank you for visiting, knittinreed. The Scholar wheel you refinished is just so beautiful. I wish you many happy years of spinning on your new beauty.
ReplyDeleteThe piano is going to go to a refinisher, and free. It's a wonderful little instrument and to send it anywhere else would be a shame. It's a Gulbransen and built in 1937. I'll miss it, but life moves on!
