Thank you so much Meribeth. The three of us are greatly enjoying it. DH is having a great old time fitting it out with new drawer dividers and stuff. I am going to make some new place mats in complimentary colors, and curtains.
ReplyDeletePogonip, hi there! And no, I cannot remember that old kitchen at all. It's gone like a miasma, or a nightmare.
I am so glad we had someone else build this. DH would have worn himself out trying to get such a big job done, and ,indeed, he would have had to hire helpers to lift the cabinets anyway.
We had a wonderful crew, subs, and general contractor. I thought of them all as my "kids", as they were all young enough. They were great. We laughed a lot. It was grand!
