Resting bird
This tiny fellow is definitely a male and a tease. See him keeping an eye on me while he's feeding? Just after the second picture, one that I had to take from a lot farther away, he chittered a little "Here's Laughing at You" song and flew right over my head for the front yard.
It's very overcast today and dark towards the North, so I hope that this means it's going to stay cool today. I have no idea where all the clouds are coming from, here, in August. Enjoy your long Holiday weekend if you have one!
