Hi BL! This is lunchtime in the Baby Tortoise house. They share their strips of lettuce or Kale from time to time. See Milagro and Mosquito? They are sharing. They will eat all the way to the middle of one piece.
I put all the names up so that you could see them and know "who is who in the Zoo". I'm glad you like to see the torts and enjoy them. Over time as they grow, I will weigh them on the grams scale, and measure them from nose to tail. Oh yes, they have the tiniest little tails! I'll take a picture soon so that you can see their tails. They also have toenails, not quite like yours but more like a kitten's but not quite as sharp Isn't that interesting?
When the tortoises want to show off, and look big and tough, they bob their heads up and down, just like their mom and dad do. It's funny to watch them do that. More pictures later in the week of tails and toenails!
