Baby Torts weigh-in and update

 

From left to right, Mosquito weighs 29.7 gms, is the second best eater, and she is in the Middleweight Division.

Milagro, weighing 31.0 gms is the Heavyweight champion and the champion eater. Her "M", the Bat mark actually, is still to be seen clearly on the space above her tail. She's still the Halloween Queen.

Dusty, Lightweight division up and comer, hits the scales at 27.9 grams. He is a very good runner and is the fastest on his feet.

Upgrades to the Habitat are: A new higher watt red light that is being augmented by a .5 UV light bar that helps them with a little heat and a lot more light spectrum balance. They are now well outfitted to survive the winter in a semi heated house. They seem pretty happy unless you touch them on the shell, then they do the tortoise version of a "hop, skip and escape" which is a full out leg rise, with a twist and squirm until they feel they've escaped disaster.
