LIttle Snowman

 
he's finished, finally. And he's home. This is DH's first project in painting on the engobes. He is color blind to greens and reds but the two greens are my fault! I'm thinking I would not let a child of mine wear those two greens together.

    Alas, engobes, it has been so long....I long for your clayey colorful goodness.....

    I think hubby did a fabulous job on the snowman and i like the greens together!

  3. Thank you Wen, Kelley, and Magnusmog. I do think that as the days go by, I'm getting used to the two greens together. Dh can't really see them so he's never bothered by it whatsoever. lol!

    Ceallach, yes, isn't the decoration and forming and all the muddiness of clay work brilliant fun?

    Clay makes me so happy to just handle it and form it the way my imagination sees the object, and building the coils or slabs is so PEACEFUL.

    Adding the colors is delicious, like making a pie or something. I bet you get a lot of peace out of creating your yarns. Your yarns are so beautiful. Delicious yarns. :)
