My favorite house

 



Have loved this great big craftsman house since first seeing it in the very early 60s. It's gone through many phases but it's never been mine. This shows only about half the house as we flew by on the way to Mrs Kelley's, a locale haunt for those who love fish and chips. This house is mine, I tell you. It's only fair that since I love it so much, it will be mine someday.

    Its yours because you care for it.

    Legal ownership is nothing... we all own not just our house, but our community, with our love.

    Thank you, Helen, and that is a beautiful way to express that feeling.

    I think this house is one of the original houses on Point Loma. It's really gorgeous, even in it's slightly beaten up condition. It is now on a major road but I can see that it was meant to have large stretches of green around it.
