College Lava Cakes
The Mixes. The recipe calls for normal fudge cake. Since I'm not normal I bought a gluten free. The pudding-in-the-mix cakes would probably be a better choice as there didn't seem to be a "normal" choco cake mix anywhere in the store. And for all you Greenpeacer's out there, I usually don't buy Nestlé.. I blame DH! heehee
Mix all ingredients up very well, no white streaks! And I would use mini chips for the next batch. In my case that would be in six months. Or... I could sit and pick every single big one out of that container and eat it.
I added marshmallows, thankfully, afterwards because I wished to see what it would taste like. It's good, but messy! And I would add to the recipe to say that the cup should be spritzed with a baking spray, too. So, No marshmallows, and a baking spray in the cup, first.
The volcano in the micro wave. Thankfully, remembering my other experiments in micro wave cookery, I had placed a paper plate beneath the cup.
The lava cake, all ready to eat. Yum!
That recipe is HERE
Have fun with your microwave, Good Sports. Enjoy!
