I am putting this up for anyone who wishes to read the wonderful editorial by Carolyn Chase, called, "A Plea for Politics" She makes a highly compelling argument for staying involved in the political process and not caving in.
This quote, From John Muir, Written in 1896, which Carolyn Chase uses to illustrate the argument for staying involved in the process, is still completely relevant :
"The battle we have fought, and are still fighting... is a part of the eternal conflict between right and wrong, and we cannot expect to see the end of it."
For myself I intend to Stay in the Fray!
This is the best editorial I've read in the Hi Sierran.
