Today, a message popped up in my email, from Knitter's Review, and the fit is perfect for a Thankful Thursday .
I am thankful for Clara Parks and for Knitters Review. She's an absolute sweetheart! Knitter's review is where I met other sock knitters, beginners like me and knowledgeable veterans. They re- inspired my knitting.
Todays bits of knitting blah blah:
I tried casting on four different times, over as many days, for the second mitt, and yesterday at my sister's, where the talk tends to be incessant, I just threw in the towel. I have a medical appointment coming up later on in the week, so I'm casting on again this am, and will take the knitting with me.

Ooh, I can be thankful too! I'm thankful for my daughter, who just is who she is no matter what version of me shows up. It helps keep me level-ish.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm thankful for KR, even though I don't go there any more. I met a lot of nice people, and so many people get an outlet into a creative world there.
Of course you can!
DeleteI wanted a son, but I wouldn't trade a single one of my daughters for one. As your daughter grounds you, mine do that for me. I'm so grateful for my daughters. And KR. It's a wonderful place full of wonderful folks. I agree about the creativity levels there and the generous sharing.
PS. We have adopted daughters and sons though they don't know it. We love them so much, and wish they really were ours, too!
