The theme is "Ears" this week:
1. What is a most pleasant sound to wake up hearing?
Mr. Z saying, "Good Morning. Would you like a cup of tea?" He gets up very early. Me? i don't get up so early.
2. What is a most pleasant sound to fall asleep hearing?
Silence or maybe rain
3. What’s a more annoying sound: car alarms or leaf-blowers?
I'm sorry, they both get a 10 and a half on the annoyance scale for me. Car alarms usually get shut off but leaf blowers go endlessly. While doing this, they make me think of the thick layers of dust they deposit on everything in their wake. They save water, but just give everything in a dry country, including people's lungs, a thick serving of road tar and rubber tire dross!
Then their are these:
4. What’s a sound most people seem to like but you hate? I hate those base speakers that people carry in their trunk and blast the ears of everyone within a half mile. They seem to be pretty popular!-

Pretty much, if other people hate a sound, so do I. Though, I do like to hear a Lion's roar at the wild animal park. Thrilling and exciting. There is that. I'm not sure many people like that sound.
I'm off to see the doc tomorrow so this is going up early. Have a nice weekend! Hope the weather's gotten warmer in the snow bound East. Hugs to all who read here. Do something fun this weekend. Life is short, eat dessert FIRST!!! Get some things scratched off the bucket list! I'm ok, just lost an oar for awhile, honest! I got it back fast!

I hate those ridiculous bases too.
ReplyDeleteThey should be banned. Check out this scenario: Sitting in traffic listening to uber bases might actually start some aggro, as in seniors citizens, with ball-peen hammers, jumping out of their cars and all attacking an offending auto, which might lead to, OMG, some gunfire.
