Sunday Stealing

March 14, 2015

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard of the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. We also provide a link to the victim's meme in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from this new meme or recently asked questions from a previously featured meme.
Cheers to all of us thieves!!!

The One Thing Meme

Shamelessly Stolen from: Survey Haven

One Thing .....

that makes you smile:  The male Goldfinch, singing in the garden in the morning.

that makes you cry: Little children, and their mothers,  who get caught in the crossfire.

that you love to do on the weekends: Life has become sort of one long weekend.  I like to read mostly.

that you do for only yourself:  Ring my Peace Bell so I can bring myself back.

that you have in your underwear drawer that's NOT underwear:  Had to go look.  A pair of white Marilyn Monroe sunglasses.  Very HOLLLYWOOOOOD!

that you do before going to sleep: Turn off the chatter in my head.

that you do within the first 15 minutes after waking:  The first thing I actually do is go visit the little room..

that's in your purse:  a cute little yellow chico bag named Buttercup.  What, you don't name your chico bags?

that you actually LIKE to clean: Oddly, I like to clean everything, make them sparkle.  I just can't anymore.  I just do my best.

that you DETEST cleaning:  Hmmm.  You have given me pause..... I guess I don't like cleaning woodwork of greasy fingerprints.  I'm SO not CSI.

that other people would find odd about you: I'm actually a quiet person who talks a lot to total strangers and all other sentients.  If you are human, you are family.  If you are a quadruped I talk to you like a person.  Moths, flies, bees, lady bugs?  I talk to you.  Sometimes just in my mind.

that you would buy if I handed you a $100 bill:  We've done this before, I just know it.  My post Op brain sometimes cuts through the fog...  It's the money thing.  I remember it from somewhere.  Anyway, I would give the money to the Animal shelter.  That would make me smile!

that you feel you HAVE to do before you die: Pay off the Visa?  I think I'm old enough to have done everything I possibly could have done or even can still do before my little heart shudders to a stop.

Have a sweet Sunday.  No more emergency dashes to the hospital!

    1. Thank you, so kind. I'm ok, just not sleeping well. "Old Arthur" keeps jabbing the ribs and twisting shoulders.... "Wake up fool!" And, I have a little touch of CRS, heehee.

And, I sort of stole that $100 answer from Harriet or maybe G. Juicy. I thought, as did you,What a great answer!.", the last time there was a money question. And, thank you for doing this every week. It's loads of fun. :-)

  2. I have been known to pull over and yell at deer that are in the road. Usually they run away because if they are young, I threaten to tell their parents they were playing in the road. LOL

    1. LOL! Did they give you any rude hoof signals before trotting away?

  3. I hope it is a very long time before your little heart does any shuddering. Take care.

    1. Thank you so much, and I wish this for you as well. We can stay young at heart together, though you are much, much younger. Get well, and please stay there, sharing your amazing photos.

  4. In the five or six years that I have been doing this Sunday thing, I have seen many, many questions repeated. Sometimes, I just roll with it. Sometimes, I get a bit snarky about it....

    1. I really blame my brain. I'm forgetting things now that need to be remembered and remembering things I should be forgetting! So unfair! heehee And, btw, I love the way you snark sometimes.

    1. Thank you Jodi, busy mom! You will like a post coming up on Thursday I think.. see? CRS strikes. It's about men's brains and women's brains. Women really do need to turn off the internal chatter so they can SLEEEEEP!

  6. My daughter always says, "You talk to them like you expect them to answer." And I say, "They do."

By the way, what is the flower at the top of your page? I don't recognize it at all.

    1. Of course they answer. If the rocks and stones can declare the presence, then certainly all the other earthlings can.

Ah, that flower head is the spike on a big Aeonium variety called Swartzia in our yard. It's getting HUGE! We have both the green and the dark Aeoniums both of which started out as little babies.

      Have a great week!
