Cool picture! :)
Thank you, the little fellow was sitting along the trail at a bird sanctuary near Moss Landing, central coast.... Elk horn Slough.
I love the colors zippi!! :) wonderful it is!
Thank you Jayanthy, and it was the color that revealed this little bug. I thought it was a flower at first.
Precious!
Thanks, Kara. It was the height of summer so as we walked we found lots of these little guys going about life, protecting territories and, I presume, finding things to eat. I always look for them now.
Wow I didn't know you took the picture. You should be working for national geographic :)
Thank you for the nice compliment! The true thing is that I wish I could have and hope my daughter Gee gets to! It seems like a very fun sort of life, eh? I have camera envy for most of the pros. I SO want an EOS Canon! lol
Very nicely captured! Well done! *round of applause* ('cause I know dragonflies aren't always easy to get)
Thanks Karen, and you know how, then, you can set the camera to get a picture and what you actually get is a Blur of wings if you're lucky? hehehe
I’m going through some stuff but I will peek in now and then and will be back when it’s over..
Cool picture! :)
