I've also gotten a first obscene post (political) here and so have changed some things. I'm pretty sure I know where it came from. They love to post anonymously but can't break certain habits that make the posts very characteristic. She/he followed here from another forum I used to post at. So, if it shows up again, it's easy to get rid of. I'll let my pet Martian eat their posts. He's well trained.
I like your Martian Zippi. Is he trained in snoofing out mysterious, obnoxious IP addresses? Maybe you could rent him out. LOL I know the very troll you speak of. Funny how those characteristics follow you around like a fingerprint. Too bad they are such a coward they can't stand by their own beliefs. ;o)

ReplyDeleteThe IP is probably the same as the one used elsewhere terri, an untraceable one. But they can't escape themselves and their bad training, and yes, a fingerprint. LOL Yes, cowardly they are, the trolls! My martian is pretty good but can't follow that link. However, the administrators of blogspot.com can. *yippie*!

And, you can delete any comment you want off your blog, including your own. *grins* I didn't want to set mine to "members only" for comments so I use that feature. BTW, you also want to set your blog to send you an email whenever someone posts to it. That way a bad comment can't stay buried way back a year ago without your knowledge.
I think if you ignore them, they go away eventually.

Yes Karen, I know in my heart that you are right. Ignore trolls and they go away. The martian is a vigilant little fellow and so cute but I can't remember when he came into my life. He certainly is Green! Love green things. I could live in the Marquesas Islands, or Hawaii, no problem. Green all the way down to the beautiful Pacific Ocean.

Thanks Pugknits, I will have to see what they look like. I am thinking they are those pvc ones.. I mean that's what springs to mind. Do you have a url for Spin sales? I do need a double treadle for my ribs and back. Works out better. Thinking of DD Louet small wheel atm.
