Thank you for visiting my blog, and for adding it to your list over there on the right! And what, exactly, is this little plant? Is it a kind of succulent?
You are welcome Jane. Blog visiting is like coming for tea and a chat to a friend's house. I'm glad you come to mine, too. I like your blog a lot as your writing is interesting and very sweetly personal and lively. Very good read!
Ah, the plant. This is a little succulent that I was telling my DD about. This one was collected by me off a plant at Spanish Village as a wee tiny baby, in the mid 90's, just like the ones on the edge of what is now parts of the mother plant in the picture. The undersides of the leaves are paler green and have purple spots. I will have to find it in my succulent and cactus books and put it's name up. Anytime I come across a succulent I look around in the unswept debris beneath it to see if something fleshy has fallen to the hard cement. I rescue these orphaned babies. I feel that it's only right to do so. ;o)
