Rose By Any has the complete information and personal story on her blog. Please have a look in here
I donated awhile back, but donations are still being gratefully accepted; it's in the final countdown before Amie gets her running shoes on.
On my home front, I'm resting and icing my shot-up knees (three each yesterday), reading and knitting a bit, as well as happily anticipating the arrival of our Niece and her two little Scouts, Brownie and Girl Scouts, bearing GSC! Yay! There is a very beautiful thing going this year again with GSC. A person can buy cookies for the troops, so we bought them their favorite kinds, too. Lovely on the whole, isn't it. A small thing, but a joy!
Go ahead and live for the happiness and joy. Just consider the worst of times, and keep your hand on the political throttle, to gear it down as best you can when it starts shooting us into hyperspace. This is our country, and don't let them forget who foots the bill.
Thinking about you and the dratted knees! 3 each huh? Shudder. But let's think about the up side..OK, a wonderful excuse not to be up and cleaning, must stay quiet and knit/read. They will get better and much improved before the treatment. AND you will have some visitors. (I like the no "cleaning" justification...umm excuse...errr reason (?) the best)

I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteMeribeth, just thinking about it is gross, but think about stretching out to infinity the need for anymore metal bionic parts. eh? :D. Me, too! As you know, I got some already, and bébé, that's enough, period. teehee
ReplyDeleteThanks you, Cynthia! I feel better already cause I hopped over to your blog and read that you signed a book deal! Wowzer, Gal! I can't wait to hear more!
