ReplyDeleteBut I really wanted to address this end-of-world dread. It will turn out just fine. Really.
Annihilation of our world is a certainty. Tomorrow or ten thousand or a million years from now. And I can do what about this? Nothing. Except try to make this little slice of the space/time/continuum that I occupy as pleasant and pain free as possible.
I have to agree that I like sweet people the very best, I mean the really sweet ones, not the pretenders. That comes from liking salty taste the best. And I am just a bit weird to people who know me because well. I can't say it. But hazel nut fits.

And as far as the world coming to an end, I just wonder what happens when the poles flip, and if that had anything to do with that first little moon out there, or anything else. The earth could lose a lot of crust and still be alright as a planet. But we wouldn't..
I completely agree with what you say about making the time you have here in this reality, as opposed to the next reality, as pleasant and pain free as possible. I know that you are including all the sentient beings in that plan as well. Anyone who loves gentle little bunnies is on the path of compassion.
no knitting. Got all involved in getting lamps deployed in the middle of the great room. Then I wanted to read more magazines and watch a silly movie about robots, and there went the time! Tomorrow, the contractor comes to look over this kitchen. I hope that an agreement can be reached.
