This man is someone who is doing something for us. This is a long video, but if you care, please listen to the whole thing. It's very important that Americans understand what is going on and how badly our soldiers are being served and who is getting the money.
Friends, Americans and fellow Citizens, lend him your ears.
YouTube of Senator Dorgan's appeal for a new Truman Committee
Waste, Fraud and Abuse... give him a good hearing.
Quorum is not present. That's sad.
Hey, there! :o)
ReplyDeleteI couldn't open this link. You may think I'm a smart... uh, aleck... but I'm really not. [I just play one on TV.] I appreciate your effort in arenas such as this. I'll try to sleuth out this link myself, but, meanwhile, please don't stop making me-- and all of us-- think a little bit more about what's really going on!
Thanks!
Wow... what an incredible video. Thanks so much for sharing...

ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Sam and thanks for listening to the senator. Before the administration tries to get the citizen up in arms with pitchforks and torches, I thought it would be a good thing to give this video a wider audience mainly because that incitement has already commensed. It's all the Iraqis' fault that we wasted their country and they need to pay us back for all our costs!
ReplyDeleteThank you L, for alerting me to this video <3

Hey, I heard about this website on NPR this morning and I wonder what you think about it:

I'm a lot smarter on educational issues, contemporary art, and when a team should bunt the winning run over into scoring position. Otherwise, I usually trust the thoughts of smart people.
So... any thoughts?
I'm not that smart but I tend to "follow the money". I want to know who has the most to gain by something that is an emerging phenomenon, like Kristen's heady rise to prominence.
ReplyDeleteShe's being courted by the big money, and she isn't probably not quite quick enough to see it.
I read the whole group of stories and her web site, and she should really be more careful about succumbing to flattery, and she should be aware of how her detailed and untested arguments are being grabbed up and run with by this horrible and tiny group who apparently have a lot of money invested in keeping things as they are.
Always look at who supports arguments and what they have to gain. Her proponents have a lot to gain by making her a darling, and putting her in front of the press, or what passes for the press these days, corporate multi-nationals who want to create a mountain out of a molehill for ratings.
This is the smart person I trust to be right.

That's a link up under the Grist one. It's ok to be skeptical, but we have too much to lose and much to be gain by being careful of what we have done and will do.
Thanks for asking what I thought. That's what I think. :O)
