DH gets this feed (and now so do I) and he likes to tell me about stuff like this. Now I want it to be here with the other meltdown stuff I've been entertaining my brain with lately.
Meribeth, it's time for heads to roll, but instead they well may be backing up their whole bodied selves, and their money wagons, at the "Taxpayers Bank", and hauling away the assets we are supposed to be taking care of each other with in the years to come.

ReplyDeleteI can't swallow this bailout, not one bit of it. Sure, there are some "controls" but really, it amounts to nothing. The big money, sold us "breachfront property," the government let them do it, knowing, Knowing this was going to happen. And what do they do about it? Pay the Con Men trillions of DOLLARS, for bilking the working poor and middle class.
Nothing to stop the rape and greed in the future. Nothing to really instill trust. Nothing to help the guy who will loose his home, job, savings.
And the bastards in D.C. will still have THEIR jobs, perks, contacts, homes.
If we continue to vote in big money, tough talking swagger, neo-cons, deregulating fanatics, and people who think "let them eat cake" and us of the great unwashed are a commodity....then we as a nation deserve to get shafted.

It's really hard to stop this now. It could have been stopped when the first voting irregularities were detected. It could have been stopped when the machine first got rolling under the Puppet president, Reagan. They USED that man's illness and they HID it.
