Demistifying the Yarn Stash

After being certain that it was time to stop buying sock yarn, I finally got it all organized, I mean that which I could actually FIND.

Now it's all in an album and I'm starting to upload it to the organizer in Ravelry. I knew that there was a reason to join Rav when I first found the feature, but then, the forums started to grab at me with their delicate little fingers. It is so HUGE that you can end up talking much more about knitting than you actually spend time clacking away with the needles.

Anyway, I'm glad of the friends that I've found at KR and now at Ravelry. Who knew there was going to be a madly passionate Birding group? Or a poodles and pets group? Or the Fibro group or the crockpot group? And on and on it goes! Thrifty Knitters? I'm in 40 groups and counting. It's so fun to yak!

Home is still the Knitter's Review, though fewer are posting there I think it's because, well I hope it's because, they are madly passionately knitting, spinning and gardening, since it's Spring again in the northern Hemi. The southern Hemi should all be knitting and spinning, as the garden should be going to sleep Downunder.

I leave you with a little bit of nature.. more to follow tomorrow. Earth Day is actually today, so here's a brave little petunia, trying to make it in an indifferent world full of water shortages after she bloomed where she was planted.
