The buttons are going on tonight as we watch a video, but this is the finished coat. The hood is generous and almost the size of a Kinsale cloak. The pockets are big for nice warming of mittened hands. It's a very snuggly coat. It's an adaptation of a Saf-T-Pockets long coat, but only one layer of 300 Polartec, which is a lovely soft fabric.

ReplyDeleteThey are lovely coats. I've made five of them so far and need to make myself one some day. Mine will have a zipper though. I'm just not as handy with buttons as with a zipper.
