I'm off to knit the swatch for the hats with this lovely yarn that came yesterday. I think about all the little businesses struggling to keep their niches and just how sweet most of them are.

I never forget that big, ugly world turning out there. It saddens me that people are being torqued into believe some really weird and horribly untruthful things in their angst and unhappiness, and I say, "Shame on you who exploit them. Shame on you, all you talking heads and hidden hands. You know who you are, and you are truly evil."
