"Everyone can master a Grief but he who has it”

Sky Watcher Post

Tonight's sunset was tremendous. After days of clouds with no rain, we have a break in the weather. It was a glorious day. This phone shot doesn't do it justice (until you make it bigger, biggest). It was really too dark but it was so beautiful that I wanted to share it anyway.

My brother and sister spent the afternoon with us and we had a great chin wag.  Then the four of us went to the mall to get lunch and do some serious shopping.

Earlier we had pushed baskets around Big Lots. Excitement! And then a visit to World Market ( at the mall and before lunch ) which had small Vietnamese sea grass baskets on sale. More excitement!

I bought four baskets to store the yarns in the corner of the bedroom. Adding to the pleasure was the tote bag they were giving away, and, a sweet gal who was buying another sort of basket stack that I ogled. We chatted a bit in line, and I found out that she is playing Celtic fiddle at the Renaissance Fair this weekend.

Lanea, and you, too, Sarah, would be very happy to hear her play, I'm sure, as well as to have a gander at the Fair. I'm not sure I can get up there because of two birthdays and one anniversary this week that will have me flat out worn to a nubbin!

Tuesday DH and I will have been married for 47 years. I think we will just go to Ceramics and eat some Chinese take out, and rejoice that we are both still here and running around under our own power. Three more years to the Alaska Cruise? hehe.
