Actual Knitting content plus some cute erasers
The sock yarn I chose is not going to work out for this pretty little thing.. Scarf Pattern from Drops. It would look good on a guy, or maybe even as a head scarf for a kid, but not for an elegant and snuggly scarf por MOI! I'll spring for the yarn from Garn Studio, more to my taste in pinks, greens and/or purples. I'll just knit some more plain mindless knitting in sock form. Yay!
These are called Puzzle Erasers; they come from Japan, and I got them yesterday at Hallmark. There are at least a dozen more I will slowly bring into the eraser Zoo box, which will eventually be redecorated in an appropriate way.
Art is fun, a lot more fun than hand wringing angst at the behavior of Men in the World at Large, particularly rich and powerful men and the women who hang around with them. Margaret Thatcher comes to mind. Forgive me my little joke?
Newest hobby for the brain. These are exceedingly hard, even when deemed "easy" by the people who publish the books. I did "easy" sudoku on the web and it wasn't this hard! I'm not a person who likes to "guess". I prefer to "know". It's very hard for me to "guess" at any game or puzzle, and sudoku takes far too much guessing for me to advance to the harder puzzles. We'll see!
Today is a busy day but I'm feeling lazy. It will get me into trouble sometime this afternoon when everything converges upon the X that marks my spot in the universe.
Yesterday was a perfectly beautiful day. We had dinner at that great place for plain food cooked to perfection and at a price lean budgets can afford. I didn't have to dress WAY up, nor hobble around in uncomfortable shoes, either! We went to Boston Market. No candles on the table but what the heck. We loved it.
Hope you all have a grand day. And check out the little erasers at Hallmark. At a buck, they are good stocking stuffers for the little kids in the family.

I have a collection of the little erasers in my purse - mostly vehicles and construction equipment. They come out when we are eating in a restaurant. Sometimes the grownups even let Little Luann play with them!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!
ReplyDeleteLol! They would be hard to resist!
In fact.. if they are there...I must have those, too! hehe
These erasers work so well with the puzzle book. They are made of the same sort of plastic that high density drafting erasers are made of. The dd's and I used to carve those for stampers way back before stampers became fabulous and plentiful.
Hobby Lobby has some of those ADORABLE erasers...mostly sushi, pots, pies, ect. me and suduko work good sometimes...but I agree..some easy or hard!
ReplyDeleteWhen I re-read the title to this post, I thought it said, "Annual Knitting Content."
ReplyDeleteThat would make it more like my blog....
Those erasers are soooo cute!!!!
ReplyDelete@Kara, oh my they are so cute, and priced to be addictive. Yesterday, before picking up sis for the day, I stopped off and bought an Orca, half peeled banana, and an ice cream cone. I'm just a kid at heart. hehe
ReplyDelete@K. Knitting is thin on the ground here as daily life tasks increased, plus the weather has heated up,too! Summer came back! Three days of high temps, and yesterday it was 95 degrees in the shade patio! This is very weird weather for November. I want more of that unseasonal rain, thank you very much! darn heat!
@PJ, oh my such cute things like sushi and kitchen items. I didn't see construction equipment, pies, etc, but did ask about them. A Sudoku, it is a little hard so I'm so not into brain crunches for now - I just want to float through life for a bit- that the book has been set aside. There are a few web pages that have systems for solving but my eyes tell me to stay away from them. They are too dazzling. Any excuse is as good as any other, eh? ;o)
