Meanwhile, back at the knitting, I'm still poking along on two sweaters and making lots of mistakes. My head just isn't there at the moment. I'm dreaming of the huge garden I'd plant if I lived in Santa Cruz and didn't have to hand water, and/or abandon, all the thirsty plants during the height of growing season.
A friend told me about some Gratefulness reading that should help this fit of despondency. She's right. I need to do this thing. Thank you, Mz. Sandy.
I'm really too hungry to be posting. I'm grateful that there is something very nice for dinner. And, I'm grateful that I do not have to cook anymore unless I want to. I don't wash dishes anymore, nor do I have to plan meals. I'm grateful to live in the same state that San Francisco is in, and the one that Santa Cruz, CA is in, and where the Pacific Ocean goes all the way from one end of the state to the other, something like 1800 miles. God Bless that beautiful Pacific Ocean!
I'm not particularly crazy about, nor grateful for, all the fault lines but what the heck. It sort of puts an edge on everything.
