Ooooops! I won't ever do that again!

Double Entendre anyone?

This is one of the cute "shopped" photos (or there are also cartoons) at the site that I did have up earlier - and took down in a flash when I started reading through it. Yiii!  But, there are a lot of hilarious and quirky things there; so, if you want to look at it on your own that is the best way.  There's some totally disgusting things there, too.  Ick!  That's all folks.  Enjoy the baby food jar.

Today was a ceramics day, so I got up and started rushing around to get things watered, tomato plants are doing well (there will be a picture of them when they have some actual fruits), and all the baby succulents are getting little roots.  Some get red, some get white.

But it's been so hot that they need to have my eyes upon them daily.  All the succulent starts will be in a pot as soon as they get that infant plant sticking out their sides.  This is the most exciting thing about being a person who likes to grow things.  I love to watch the process that creates a new plant from a little piece of another one.

At Ceramics, a nice thing happened.  The room was open - not locked up and hot - and the air conditioner was on!  Usually one of the more spry members - we are all seniors - has to crawl up on a counter top, get the remote off the top of the AC unit, which is way up by the ceiling, and crawl back down after turning the unit on.   Some really nice person who works there did all that for us, today.

*A round of applause for Nice Person!*

The sock is inching along, even in the heat.  The new roof has made it a lot cooler in the house, a LOT, and for longer.   We could be dancing in the kitchen if we were young and spry.

Remember the new American Motto.  "Don't let them have any more of our money."  They've bitten off our arms and a leg, but they can't have that last limb.   That one is for the grand kids.
