Friday Fill-in, skywatcher post

1. I saw, I'm afraid, far too much human cunning in my 70 years.
2. How can I change this...just a hint, please!
3. Once when I was very small I didn't have to struggle so much to be happy.
4. My very kind Grandparents and Aunties helped my mother raise me in times past.
5. The [that] road led me to love beauty through the eyes of my mother, her sisters, cousins and aunts, and grandparents. It was the best part of my early life.
6. I love seeing the Earth and all of Nature in the morning light.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to watching Netflix and reading my book, tomorrow my plans include storing away Autumn decorations as well as putting up Christmas lights and Sunday, I want to find my little pliers!

  1. That's a beautiful photograph. Certainly it reminds us to look for the beauty that is always around us. Have a great weekend!

  3. Good Luck with that Sunday project...I hate when that happens. You need a specific tool for a specific chore and they are always, always where they are supposed to be...except for when YOU need them! Then when you give up on looking for them, they turn up, exactly where you looked 3 times already!!!

    fa la la...

  6. Hiya, hula-la. Aha!! so you know what this is like, too! I called upon Saint Anthony, but so far, no luck. Friend Sandy says St. Anthony can find anything! I reaaally miss my darn pliers. DH says, "We'll find them."; but meanwhile I have no round nose and no combo or bender. grrrr I just have to stop hiding my tools from myself! My old hands need these little helpers!

lou, ain't it the truth. For me, I think it's a cumulative thing. *sighs* Thank you for the wishes, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the weekend, too. We need to play like the little kids do, eh?

  7. ****Andie**** Hi there. I am going to make earrings and just finished mending five necklace chains. But to make the earrings, I really need the round noses. Maybe I should dangle a big magnet under the usually little black holes that things fall into around here. Yarn baskets, mostly. I'm truly stymied in this hide and seek relationship I'm developing with my tools!
