I'm thankful for happy endings.

An Amazing set of circumstances went into this happy ending.
And how is this for the last century Laudanum junkies?
Eye Report:
My eye did not get blackened by the procedure yesterday, so I am not going to be able to say that I got a shiner kickboxing my way to the women's welter weight championship, something that I was prepared to claim when I meet with my Sensei in a few days.
My Doctor told me, very calmly, not to move anymore because it would increase the bruising, so I calmed down, quit squeaking, and remembered that my first baby had had to have some serious eye surgery on both eyes, when she was eighteen months old I asked myself who was I to be whining about a little jab or two in the corner of one eye.
The Good Doctor's wonderful assistant (nurse) held my hand. She may have been making sure that said hand stayed in my lap and didn't suddenly rise up like a cobra and strike. She may have some experience with patient's false moves, you see, and she saved me from harming myself with a misplaced defensive move. It was sweet just the same, and she touched my heart with her kindness.
Speaking of Eyes, Here is some serious eye candy for sewists. I snagged the pattern at the local JoAnns pattern sale. Isn't it pretty?
This is a knitter's bag. Something for a seamstress to make for her favorite knitters.
Good night Y'all! Sweet Dreams. I've been up since 5:30 AM and need some beauty sleep! Or else some of this stuff:
