1. Right now I'm still in bed, netbook running, and having finished the thumb on one knitted mitt. I plan to finish the other today. I'll put photos up later on of both of them.
2. Being cranky when woken too early is my well known quirk.
3. Are you as sick as I am of the city noise from cars, buses, jets and helicopters?
4. I hope to win the lotto first, then move north to central coast and escape it all! When we went to a big bead store on Tuesday, I was given a powerball ticket by the manager. But, alas, it wasn't the winner. Drat! He said if I won, I had to promise to throw a big party for all his employees, and I quickly assented.
5. That's why I'm getting in a better mood, remembering his kindness and good humor.
6. Frazier has become/ is one of my favorite TV shows ever!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to watching the new movie made of "Life of Pi". I read the book several years ago, and am excited about how well it translated to the so called "silver screen", tomorrow my plans include knitting and drilling beads for a man's necklace for a friend and Sunday, I want to meditate and try to get some peace!
Enjoy your weekend. I hope it's just as quiet or noisy happy as you'd like it to be. I'll put something less curmudgeonly up later on in the afternoon, something with photos of crafty things and what ever.
