I have two cartoons today. This is because, while I was trying to make up my mind about, "should it be dog days of August" day, or "ancestral misunderstandings upon which we have based our belief systems" day, this Amazing Clip was sent to me by k, at dottedyellowline.
Thank you k, you have reset my mental equilibrium to "a glass half full" thinking! If we can still laugh or find joy, then it's not time to let "them" be pulling any plugs.
And here we have what has probably happened more often than the Academics would be willing to admit:
We have to face it. We are, collectively, both Wonderful and Horrible.

See more about them HERE and the other pages. These are also piled up along a highway near us, and I love to see them when we whiz by. Stopping is out of the question. There is a place called Earth Sanctuary on Whidbey Island near Seattle which is somewhere to see some Inukshuk.
Now, I think I'll sit and watch the PBS special on the Buddha, just so I don't get it wrong anymore when I have occasion to ponder the topic.

Z, Thank you for your nice comment. :-) About your blog: Since I put your blog on follow, Google lets me know there is a new post there. I join as many blogs as I can so that I won't miss if someone posts rarely, which is happening a lot more because of Facebook. As you say, "oh well"! I like blogs a lot better but social media is always migrating.
