Yay, stolen Meme's! Sunday Stealing.

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard of the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we also have our rules. First, we always credit the blog that we stole it from and we will “fess up” to the blog owner where we stole the meme. We also provide a link to the victim's post. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") We do sometimes edit the original meme, usually to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, sometimes to select that meme's best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from either this new meme or recently asked questions from a prior featured meme.

So, Let's go!!!

Fifteen Meme

from Liv Rants

What was your first job like?
I loved my first job, which was as a carpenter.  I learned the trade from the time I was 11 until I was 19.  I learned how to build the typical wood frame house that's built in California.  My first "On the Books" job was as a library assistant.  I must say, I loved that one, too.
It’s a typical Sunday, how are you spending it?
I did crossword puzzles and now I'm doing this.
What was the happiest day of your life?
It was a day when we were camping with our two older daughters.  They were toddlers.  I just had this amazing feeling come over me, a cliche moment of  having "a great weight lifted off my shoulders".   I realized later that it was the beginning of the best period of my life, raising kids with a loving man, and not worrying what the future brought.
What was the best decision you ever made?
I decided to forget my plans and have my third child, who just happened to be twins!
Tell your go-to “pretend” game as a child (who was your alter-ego?)
I was a Native American, living off the "land".  My brother and I played in the woods all day long those days!
What email service do you use?
several and various
What fandoms would you consider yourself a part of?
I suppose you mean am I a fan of any person, place or thing?  That would have to thing.  Love, and also Truth.  I am a fan of Love and the Truth.
Do you use anything on your lips? (eg. Chapstick, gloss, balm, lipstick)
I use coco butter.  It comes in a fat stick and I used it on the blisters that were all over my leg after surgery.  It worked so well that I have no scars from them.  My PT, a wonderful family man that I miss to this day, prescribed it for me.
How many devices do you own which can access the internet?
CPU and a tiny laptop.
Last strong smell you can remember smelling?
Exhaust fumes.  We were watching a movie called, "I was an Male War Bride" (with Cary Grant) and for some reason, I could smell the exhaust of the backfiring old motorcycle in the film.  Talk about an imagination.  sheesh
If you had to move your birthday to another date, which one would you choose and why?
Had to?  Can we move the year, too?  I'd like to be born right ON Christmas.  That way the work would all be done and over with.
Inspiration behind your blog title?
The blog started out as a knitting blog, and quickly devolved.
If you could spend a rainy day with anyone in the world, who would you choose and why?
In the world means they can't be dead.  OK.  I'm predictable.  I'd like to spend it at my daughter's house, with my whole family there.
Is there a foreign culture that you love?
Yes, If I had to pick one, it would be French Lombardi.  How's that?  I was going to say Italian, but they really are over run with tourists.
Do you have a favorite soft drink?
We did this one before, and I said Pepsi, but then someone else said Dr. Pepper, and yes, Dr. Pepper RULES!

That's all Folks!

  1. Sometimes I wonder if I could live off the earth. I like indoor plumbing and cable way too much.

  2. Thanks for you comment. I had to read back to find out what I'd said. Actually, there IS a lot to be said for modern conveniences. Play time is a lot more fun than really having to live off the grid, so to speak. ;o) Have a great week Mz Harriet!
