You can't play basketball without digits.  I used to love watching Basketball and there was a team that was all in wheel chairs at the local gym.  Those guys were amazing!

This week’s questions are inspired either by things I saw outside my office window this week or by the 2014 NBA Finals, which I’m watching now. I know; they can’t all be gold!

1. Who are some of the unsung heroes in your life?
That would be nearly all my teachers, from grade school to Uni.  My trainers and PTs.  You wanted just some.  

2. What item of clothing, worn by someone else, did you especially notice this past week?
Hmmm.  I told DH that I really liked an actress's dress, in an episode of "House" from Netlix.  It was black and flowing, with an eccentric hemline.  Very gorgeous!

3. When did someone last do you a very small kindness, and what was it?
This morning, a woman held a door open for me even though she was first to get there.

4. What’s something you’re looking forward to purchasing in the next few days?
Ebooks.  Yay!  I can finally read them!

5. What’s something you know about San Antonio?
"Miss Congeniality" was filmed there.  Annnnd....Florists carry side arms there? hehe

Five Minute Friday: Hands

Here goes!
Giving people a hand is one of the greatest joys of life.  Helping hands are always needed.

Hands are what makes life worth living, hand/eye coordination is the best thing about being alive.   I have made the most use of it so much in life but still wish that there was more time for it.  I didn't get a chance to throw an Atlatl, nor did I get to create a masterpiece of a seascape, but Feet took me to the shore and Hands and Eyes got close to the ocean to look at it better and feel and see it so that I know how truly alive it is.

What I'd like most of all to do with my hands is to have healing hands.   There are people who can probably heal with their hands.  Humans have lost this art because they have become less and less aware of the real powers that dwell within them.

That's about all I have to say about hands.
