Fame, who wants it? Sunday Stealing

July 11, 2015
I Want To Be Famous
Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. We also provide a link to the victim's meme in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from this new meme or recently asked questions from a previously featured meme.
Cheers to all of us thieves!!!

I Want To Be Famous Meme

Stolen from: Surveysurveysurvey

fame.....

1. Would you like to be famous? In what way?
No.  Not in Modern Society I don't.  I feel that Fame is an incubus that will take my life and eat up anything I might have wanted to do with it, the path of my Life forever altered by an unwanted fate.

2. Before making a telephone call, do you ever rehearse what you are going to say? Why?
I might lay out papers, and be ready for any argument the party to which I direct the call may point me, but not really rehearse.  I know plenty of words to take me just about anywhere it might lead.  I'm trained in debate.

3. What would constitute a “perfect” day for you?
Being able to stand up and walk a mile, stopping to eat something really nice at a cafe with Mr.Z, and then walking back home.

4. When did you last sing to yourself? To someone else?
This morning while reading Saturday9, I sang along with the YouTubes posted.  Last June, I called up my grand niece and sang The Happy Birthday to her.

5. If you were able to live to the age of 90 and retain either the mind or body of a 30-year-old for the last 60 years of your life, which would you want?
Well, my Love, if I live to be ninety, that is only 28 years.  A 30 year old's body is going to be running an awfully good mind.  Living that long will give the 30 year old brain much to ponder.  Don't you think?

6. Do you have a secret hunch about how you will die?
Yes.

7. For what in your life do you feel most grateful?
My family and having such great friends.  My Hubby and the girls are the loves of my life.

8. If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what would it be?
My mother would have been allowed to marry the boy she wanted to marry, and God would work out the rest.  Funny story.  He was a nice Italian boy.

9. If you could wake up tomorrow having gained any one quality or ability, what would it be?
Sufi levels of Telepathy

10. If a crystal ball could tell you the truth about yourself, your life, the future or anything else, what would you want to know?
Is the Age of Aquarius Real and is it still scheduled, and still on the way?

11. What does friendship mean to you?
That Two hearts are as close as Siblings.  People's hearts do begin to beat in synchronous harmony when they feel that close, and it is a good thing in life; it's one of the best things.

12. What roles do love and affection play in your life?
Without Love I wouldn't even still be alive.

13. When did you last laugh?
Today.

14. Are you a morning person or a night owl?
I'm really a morning person but slowly evolved into a night owl.

15. Seen anything weird lately?
Not lately. ;-)
Weird like this?
One last word on night owls and early Birds

  2. We could be twins then. That mussy tussy hair is so ME, and so are the pillows and books. I'm dark Irish on my mother's side.

  3. So far, nobody wants to be famous and everyone's using big words to say so. I'm feeling the need to get out my dictionary. LOL

    1. When this group feels strongly about some issue, we tend to bring out some MIGHTY words to back up our emotions. Lol

  4. I think the question about the 30 year old mind/body thing was weird. I know plenty of 90-year-olds who still have good brains, so I went with body, since mine is not working well. I would like to be able to walk a mile, too.

    1. I let the words dance in my head and decided that a 30 year old brain is the basis of a fine mind, and would get better if it had a healthy body to tote it around for 60 years. eh?

Walking... Too many hazards outside. So back in the day, I would walk a mile inside my under 2000 sq ft house iin times past, doing 87 laps meandering laps - sort of like Billy in the Cartoons-so I'll do it again. Also Wii tennis with the good arm, and even tossing a ball back and forth with DH. Those are my plans anyway.

    1. Wasn't that Barbie head on a chicken Weird??!! I saw it and said, "That's the one!" Fame isn't usually for anyone's benefit other than more money and it's just not worth everything you give up. Let the people who are desperate to be famous have it. Give me friends and a calm life.
