Early Sunday Stealing, Drawings, grudges, and backstabbing? Oh my!

May 14, 2016  - Doodley-Do Meme

Welcome back to Sunday Stealing which originated on WTIT: The Blog authored by Bud Weiser. Here we will steal all types of memes from every corner of the blogosphere. Our promise to you is that we will work hard to find the most interesting and intelligent memes. You may have heard the expression, “honor amongst thieves”. In that age-old tradition, we try to credit the blog that we stole it from. We also provide a link to the victim's meme in our "Previous Victims" widget. (It's our way of saying "Thanks!") Sometimes we edit the original meme, to make it more relevant to our global players, to challenge our players, to select the best questions, or simply to make it less repetitive from this new meme or recently asked questions from a previously featured meme.

Cheers to all of us thieves!!!

Do you keep notes, drawings or letters that people give you?
Yes, and they are hard to part with.  I have boxes of pen pal letters, and they are like personal history to me.   Probably, I should shred or burn them.   However, they aren't bad history, but good.

How many true best friends are present in your life?
TBFs?  At least a dozen.  At least.  You mean People I'd go to the Wall for.  PIGTTWFs?  heehee  Yes, at least a dozen.

Do you currently have a significant other?
I do.  He's my BFF.

Would you be able to stand being in the same room as someone you hate?
I don't hate anyone.  But if it was Donald Trump shooting off his big mouth, or someone similar, I'd have to leave.

Do you depend on people at all, in any way?
Mr. Z. and daughters, my friends Besties or not, my doctors, and the many EMTs

Have you ever lost a close friend?
More than a younger person could ever imagine.

Has anybody ever held a grudge against you for a dumb reason?
I'm not sure.  I'm pretty clueless about these things.  Anyway, not that I'm aware of, but maybe sometime in the past?

Have you ever stayed up late talking to someone you like on the phone or online?
Yes, as Mr. Z worked the graveyard shift for many years of our marriage.  More money.

Have you ever felt backstabbed by a close friend?
If so, I don't remember it.  Actually, I only remember relatives who have done that.

Have you ever regretted ignoring anybody?
Yes.  I didn't do it on purpose but times are difficult right now.

Has a friend of yours ever confessed their love to you?
Yes.  Women friends. I do know that a few men friends have felt love for me, but I just considered it Brotherly Love, which is safe to feel.

Have you written or drawn anything for somebody else?
I used to draw a lot more, and yes, I have drawn things for others.  I've written things, too, poems and prose.

Do you tend to hide your emotions from certain people? How do you hide them?
I hide my emotions from nearly everyone.  How?  Like a Ninja.

Do your friends know how to make you smile in tough times?
My very best friend is Mr.Z.  And yes, he can make me smile in tough times.

Could you picture yourself on a reality TV show?
No way.

Are you better at drawing or coloring?
I would have been an artist, once I got over the mad, mad, love affair with Geology, so I'm pretty good at drawing most anything.  By coloring, do you mean like adult coloring books?  I love what people do in them, absolutely gorgeous stuff!  I also love DD Laura's drawings, and DD Bee's! My Bro is a talented artist, too.  He does mechanical drafting, or used to.  Excellent draftsman.

Do you prefer meat or seafood?
Actually, I prefer to eat Vegan foods, though I do eat a little meat as well as Albacore, Salmon and Cod.  I no longer eat shellfish.

Have you ever read the Bill of Rights / Declaration of Independence?
Several times.  Then I compared it to Jefferson's other personal papers, and said to myself, WTF??

Would you rather become a police officer or a firefighter?
I'd rather be a Fireman!  They are my heroes!

  1. Firemen might be my heroes, but I wouldn't want to rush into a burning building to be with them!

  2. I think I'd like fighting fires, that is IF I were as young and fearless as once upon a time.

Have a lovely evening and Sunday, Bev.

    1. An excerpt from http://www.earlyamerica.com/jefferson-primer/jefferson-native-americans/, of when he turned ruthless toward native americans:

"On the other hand, as soon as Louisiana was purchased, during his first term, he embarks on a cold-blooded policy toward Native Americans. Jefferson, in a lengthy letter to William Henry Harrison, military governor of the Northwest Territory, explained the nation’s policy “is to live in perpetual peace with the Indians, to cultivate their affectionate attachment from them, by everything just and liberal which we can do for them within the bounds of reason.” Having said that, Jefferson then instructs Harrison on how to get rid of every last independent tribe between the Atlantic states and the Mississippi. (Montgomery, 2000). In secret messages to his cabinet and Congress, Jefferson outlined a plan for removal of all Native Americans east of the Mississippi to make sure that this land would never fall to the French or the British. Jefferson was even less sentimental and more direct during his second inaugural address in 1805. Even the area west of the Mississippi would no longer be available to the Indian."

I could go on but that lays the ground work for the ensuing genocide.

    1. Shannon, relatives really know where to put the knife blade, slip it right in between the ribs. Some day, I hope we can both smile again and not be in such pain. BIG hugs, gal.

  8. I never even thought of it, but now that you've mentioned it....oh my heavens have I been stabbed in the back by family!

Even as a conservative and (disgusted) Republican I'd probably run screaming from a room where Trump was shooting off his mouth. I'd have the same reaction to Hillary, though, as well. Doesn't bode well for the election does it?

Love that you hide your emotions like a ninja! I think I'm an emotional ninja, too. At least with some people.

    Have a great week, Zip!

I think, just a notion, that you will have a more palatable choice to vote on sometime soon. They really can't leave him in there can they?
Have a great week, Stacy.. three weeks, right? Freeeeeedommmmmmm!
