Sunday Stealing: The Racquet Questions
01  What is the worst nickname that anyone has ever called you?
Probably something like "half breed" but worse.  I got it very early in school.

02  Have you got a favorite flower?
I love roses.  And all wildflowers.

03  Do you add a sauce, ketchup or other artificial flavorings to your food?
Not normally.  I do like Tomatillo sauce on my tacos but it has to be freshly made.

04  Describe yourself using only words that begin with the letter 'T'.
Tough minded, Tender hearted, True Blue, and Temperate, well, except for today's political climate.

05  What is/was your lover's pet name for you?
Hon, or maybe it's really Hun, as in Attila.

06  What is your least favorite color?
I have no least favorite.  If I were an Angel and could pick and choose what I can come back here for, it would be for color vision and true love.

07  Who did you vote for in the last election, and did they win?
No no.. not this!  heehee.  I voted for Hillary, and she WON!  But the evil trolls under the bridges stole the election, and now they are trying to figure out how to get the last bit of wealth out of the land, by hook or by crook.  See, I can't be trusted to keep to the knitting. *hangs head in shame*

08  What is/was your grandfathers’ names?
Edward and Julius.  And, that is a "was"...

09  What is the best present you ever received?
A moss rose tea set from my mother when I was a kid.  She saved up and got it with coupons.  That was when Japan was copying everything not nailed down.  It was a lovely, full sized, bone china set.

10  What is 17 1/2% of 97 + 42 x (6 / 2) – 137 ? [Editor's note: Holy shit!]
Why would you want to know that?  Are you manufacturing something explosive?  I think the answer is 5.975 but I'm neither a statistics scholar nor a bank adjuster, nor a compounding chemist.

11  What would be the best possible way you could die?
In my sleep, so I don't know what hit me.  That's the way my Mom died, and she deserved that bit of Grace.  So did my daughter but she didn't get it.

12  Given the choice of absolutely anything, what would be your dream job?
At this point in my life I no longer even want a job.

13  What position do you sleep in at night?
On my side.

14  What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?
I was conducting a meeting when I was verbally attacked by a former friend who was at that time, a grieving widow, and who was also in distress.  There was no way I was going to fight back.  But she was way out of line.

15  Who is your favorite fictional character?
*rummages around in the detritus of years and years of fiction*
I'd have to say that I like The Sensible sister, in Sense and Sensibility.

16  What food do you hate most in the world?
I don't like Indian food but to like Naan.  It's so GOOD!

17  When was the last time you were ill?
Right now.  Something weird is going on with me.

18  If you were transformed into a wild creature, what would it be?
No wild creature is now safe.  But I'll play nice.  I'd like to be a protected species that is not hunted on the sly by all and sundry.  Eagle.  For flight and eye sight.

19  What was your favorite toy as a child, and whatever happened to it?
My favorite was my wee  kewpie doll.

From here
There are so many great things at this site.
Just clink the link above.
What happened to her is that she got wet and started curling up in places.  I think I still have her but not sure.

20  What's the most amazing thing you've ever seen?
My "almost" horse, Sonny.  He was completely at ease with me, and I with him.  I loved him at first sight.  He was a wonderful horse, a Medicine hat pinto, perfectly schooled.

  1. An eagle is a great choice. I'd gone my whole life without seeing one except in movies or in a zoo. Now they've made a big comeback and we have several pairs around here. Sightings aren't super common yet, but they are not that unusual, either. It gives me a thrill every time I catch sight of one soaring up there.

    1. Hiya. We have Golden Eagles here and once we hiked way back into the Santee hills to see a nesting pair, kept secret by Audubon to protect them. Eagles are amazing birds. Glad the bald eagle is now more common. We almost lost that bird forever.

    2. I didn't mention it, but bald eagles are what we have here.

    3. I thought so, and as it's range is upper tier and into eastern states, i figured you had them. I think, but don't quote me, the Golden is only in western states, and Alaska and has populations in Asia as well. dear God, do I love birds or what?

  3. You have the right answer to #10. I cheated and asked my high school trig teacher to figure it out. I am so impressed that you did it on your own!

    1. Hiya CountryDew, I was trying to figure out who would use an equation like that other than a math wiz. So I just did all the primary functions first and then added it all up.

    1. Hiya Harriet. Roses are so beautiful.
And, yes we do. We should meet up and have an off the grid chin wag!
heeheehee Attila is infamous, is he not. One of his lesser known crimes was the destruction (along with the Moguls and English) of the Vedas. I'd like to snatch him bald for that, and flog the other two.

  7. I tried to google an answer to #10 and google couldn't come up with an answer. One of my bloggy friends came up with a minus number in my comments. So many answers.
Your horse sounds like he was beautiful.

  8. Hi Katie. Sonny was a wonderful horse. I hope that he had a happy life where ever he went. Someone obviously loved him to school him so well. He was a Mustang, from when Rancher's still could catch and tame them.
That equation, or formula, is meant to be tricky. I looked it for sometime before trying out what I know on it.
