Sunday Stealing: The Greenish Questions

This Meme is ending next week,  and I just want to thank Bud for hanging in so long and wish him the best for his book to be finished and into the printers hands!

Good Luck Good Buddy!  It's been grand!

The Greenish Questions & Ending Stealing

We found this gem  from a blogger and blog named Greenish Lady. She states that Becca invited everyone to do it. But, it was probably stolen at that blog as well. So, of course, that will be as far as we go. Tracing back our theft's thieves might take some time. Link back to us at Sunday Stealing!

Cheers to all us thieves!

Sunday Stealing: The Greenish Questions

1. What is your current obsession?
Getting rid of the detritus of a lifetime of making crafts and art.

2. What’s your go-to coffee place?
I don't have one.. Well, there are three, depending on just where we have landed.

3. Who was the last person that you hugged?
My hubby

4. Do you nap a lot?
Not much at all.  In fact I don't take them at all and I really need to.

5. Tonight, what’s for dinner?
Probably salad.  Salads are nice especially when it's so hot.

6. What was the last thing that you bought?
A purse at the Sally's in Santa Cruz.

7. What is your favorite weather?
I like late winter and early spring weather.

8. Tell us something about one blogger who you think will play this week?
She's smart and well spoken, and a writer by trade.  Actually that fits three peeps; then we have a school teacher who is also all those things AND may actually write a book someday.

9. If you were given a free house that was full furnished, where in the world would you like it to be?
Santa Cruz

10. Name three things that you could not live without.
I can live without many things but not food, water, and air.

11. What would you like in your hands right now?
A spinning world

12. What’s one of your guilty pleasures?
Chocolate

13. What would you change or eliminate about yourself?
Anxiety

14. As a child, what type of career did you want?
I went through many things, starting probably with Writer, that prompted my mother to buy me a used typewriter all my own.

15. What are you missing right now?
My kids

16. What are you currently reading?
Please see the post below.

17. What do you fear the most?
Losing another child.

18. What’s the best movie that you’ve seen recently?

19. What’s your favorite book from the past year?
An account of the Osage Murders. Killers of the Flower Moon.  It's an excellent book!

20. Is there a comfort food from your childhood that you still enjoy?
I'll always love noodles.

  1. Noodles? Like chicken noodle soup? You're right, your description of a blogger would fit many of us on Sat 9 and/or Sunday Stealing. Interesting, that.

    1. I originally typed it out for you, and then thought, "that triad fits Bev, and Gal, too", and the first two fit a whole lot of posters in Sunday Stealing and Saturday 9. And eventually, when Kwizgiver writes her book, the original will fit her as well.

Yes, noodles, or pasta really. They are my comfort food. At this stage of life, I crave Udon noodles made into soup.

  2. Alas, we won't be seeing Sunday Stealing next week. It doesn't look like Bud found a "taker" for this ol' meme. It's too bad, but if his heart isn't in it ...

I wish there was someone around who could spur me to part with some of my stuff. I'm drowning in detritus!

    1. I wish I had the energy to take on Sunday Stealing but I just don't. It will be sad to see it go. Maybe, like "6Chicks" in the comics, we could try to patch a working group together, only being responsible for once every six weeks. But even that seems iffy.
Age has me on the warpath to reduce my hold on things. I'm finding that if I keep moving towards a goal like five things a day from each of two areas, I will have this under control in a year. Five things meaning whole boxes or even single items when the day seems oppressive.

  3. I fight the naps, too. Why do we do that? I know I could use them.
I am definitely putting that book on my list. I like reading Native history.
It is sad that none of us feel up to taking this over. :(

  4. It is sad that none of us can do this, but given the times, I can certainly understand it. I would fall asleep at school when I was very young, and so kindly teachers said my parents should make me go to bed earlier. Well, it just didn't work but I sure learned to stay awake in class.
That book should be a must read for History majors. What happened is appalling. The collusion went all the way to Washington.

I’m going through some stuff but I will peek in now and then and will be back when it’s over..
