There is something called, The Mundane Mind. It rules us, until it is stilled .... then the Spiritual mind takes over. Christians aren't the only ones who have these experiences, though they are the ones who usually are willing to tell about it on mass media....

Great song! I see you are no longer posting about politics. Hmm... okay. But single issues sometimes merit a post. Welcoming neighbors, enjoying clean air, cherishing families ... these are non-partisan even though some people say they are political. I figure that's their problem.

DeleteI say! Those people who object to conversations about the everyday events that make life more livable must have a very strict "us VS them" attitudes then.
Oh, yes, every once in awhile something rolls in from Washington that is just too stupid for me to NOT comment on. And then it makes me feel SO much better to give it (them) a piece of my mind.
This is been one of my favorite songs, from the first time I heard it. And the first 'grown up' record album I bought was The Platters, with this on it.
