    Well, the ribbing always pulls tighter than the rest, so I am glad you didn't have to frog the sock!
    The pattern is lovely - is it complicated? Could you post it?

    I haven't figured out how to put a real hotlink into this thing yet so I hope that can be copy and pasted. Mine look a little different than hers because I couldn't figure out, with my hands, how to get an SSK done. My hands are not what they used to be. I blame typing. hehe

    I will try the pattern - they look really nice and not as boring as normally knit socks. Regarding the SSK, I'll have to look that one up in my english knitting book first ;-)

    Karen, you're welcome. I posted this in the wrong place so here goes again...

    I can tell you what the SSK is but I sure can't do it. Somehow you are supposed to slip two stitches to the other needle and then go back and knit them together. It gives a slightly different look than a K2tog, but same result. I just change it out.
