"Everyone can master a Grief but he who has it”
William Shakespeare
Greed is an incredibly contagious disease 🦠 And, it’s a shame when anyone catches it.

I spent some very pleasant and cool afteroons looking up at the canopy of the elms from our hammock. The tree people ground the stumps out on sunday. The milky smell from the wood sap still wafts in the windows at night on the cool night air. My daughters loved these trees and played under then with their bunnies all scurrying about helter skelter in and out from under the deck.

  1. i like this one too. i love walking through areas with such canopies. the sun shines throughs with rays and seems to be the path of angels coming down to the earth, fairies dancing, like an enchanted garden. silly me... :)

  2. I believe in angels and in other unseen and beautiful enchantments. The mystery of the earth and it's voice is just about drowned out by the chainsaw but it's really there still. Our little dog won't even go back there now. He feels alienation from that part of the yard, which was one of his favorites.
