Lastly, the more common color of magenta and red. This one didn't bloom this year either. I'm bringing you guys two starts, if I am not mistaken. We will see how they handle the cold. hehe

  2. Hi Karen. They are sometimes called Orchid Cactus. They are Epiphylums, and, like orchids, they have air roots. I've loved them for a long, long time though most of the year they are strappy and kind of ugly plants. They bloom in spring and early summer. I love them as much as roses and orchids.
