Apples!

And yes, we love the place they came from, very much. It's like an open food market in some place exotic, like London or something. You dare to laugh? I've hardly been out of California. LOL!  Posted by Picasa

  1. Rural open-air French food markets...that`s where you want to go. Everything from the overflow from folks gardens sold by little old ladies at a card table to...um...live chickens and rabbits. And great knitting baskets!
UK markets are fine, but rather overloaded with hygiene regulations. What`s wrong with having to wash a bit of mud of the potatoes?

  2. Hi Val, the lovely open air farmer's markets of the central and Northern coast of California remind me of the French markets that I've seen in travelogues. I love to go to the farmer's markets in the other parts of the state. There's a couple of farmer's markets here in our city, but this place really doesn't have the farmlands like the rest of California. We have the fields in Imperial Valley if you eat alfalfa. We've lost a LOT of farmland to housing.
