We just had seven participants this time and every one of them made lovely and unique postcards. Bottom left Vickie used pictures she had taken of blue birds nesting in her boxes-they are not disturbed by this- and she created fabric for her cards. Middle of bottom row Cindy used fabric and filled out the chubby birdie with a bit of batting, then added embellishments. She sent it in a clear envelope but it is still very much a post card. Pina's card is next in the bottom row, with beautiful baltimore oriels, sunflowers and appliqued butterflies. Middle Row and first is Ellie's card, with sweet birdhouse fabrics, appliqued bluebird and flowers with sparklies, and a feather, too. Next in the middle row is pure and lovely country fabrics with appliqued and embellish CawCaw, and next comes Diva of Flamingo Dancers, and a very good play of words, from Pammi. Look closely at Diva's pearl necklace. I balanced the parrots at the top because they were so loud! That one has words. It's in honor of the wild parrots that Californians see everywhere nowadays.
