Spidie gets the hang of it!
Though she still has some trouble with tension, this newest technique seems to have straighted out some problem areas. She is making a curtain for her door. She wanted to knit some lace so that she could see through it and screen out potential baddies, i.e., huge black wasps of the bill collector type. I thought she'd rather have a more earth colored curtain but she said no. She did want a measure of "curiousity factor" for attracting the tastier bugs. Only, as she put it "bugs with better taste".

Ah! She's so cute. :-) ...and looks to be a most proficient knitter!
ReplyDeleteDrucella is very good at hanging five and knitting. She just didn't listen about the garter stitch edge. You know how spiders are; they challenge conventional methods, sometimes with badly curling results. Next step is to teach her to crochet an edge. How hard is that? ;o)
