The edges of all the photos used were "shopped" in a program that gave them an even more country look. The shadow boxes are old fruit crates that I'm not even sure can be gotten anymore. We would pick them up behind grocery stores. The quilted duck is from a very badly damaged 40s quilt. I never ever use a quilt that isn't just about in rags for a quilted project. Usually I'll make something from old material that's been worn out. Old shirts are fabulous but you can no longer get things like that from thrift stores. I wish they had rag bins, still.
