Little Shaver

Here is the patch that had to be shaved from his middle for the ecg today. I wasn't there when he got picked up, since I was getting the annual "Squash" myself at a different facility. When I finally was finished with THAT issue, I went out to the parking lot, climbed into the Jeep and greeted my doggie. By greet, I mean I pick him up, hold him at eye level, bottom in one hand and chest in the other. Something was strange to the touch! No hair on his chest! His Groomer is going to gasp, and then go to work trying to make it better.

  1. Poor little Jazzie! How does he like his new "do"?

Thank you for your comment. I was lucky to be at the right place and the right time for that photo.

  2. Hi knittinreed =0) Your photo is gorgeous, and thank for sharing the beauty. We get little rain so few rainbows, so yours was a delight to see.

Jazzie feels shorn up and worn out right now, nekked even. And his chest fells cold to the hand in this heat wave. He's sleeping off his trauma on our bed - where I'm going to join him in a minute.

  3. Poor little Jasper. Glad to hear he checked out fine though except for the known leaks. He looks a bit shell shocked in the pic, so I image he needed a good snooze!

  7. Annie he was shell shocked. Good description. Meribeth, I think he looks sad because he's not much of a camera lover in a family of Papparazzi.

sarah-hope, he's a sweetie, and today he's doing very well, had two meals last night and this am, and is looking forward to his dinner.

He's had a couple of walks, and a tortoise wrangling attempt in the backyard this am. He's top of his form this am, and plays just like old times. Leaky valves and all, he's a most happy fella today...

  10. His Groomer is the sister of his first human mama, and she will do her level best for her wee furry nephew, so she will. Until then he is enduring his defacement rather well, AR. hehe
