I'm hoping this all comes out in the first wash and blocking. This pic was taken two days ago and the glove is now finished except for all the tails. Sewing up the tails are the pits on a glove. Yawn! I do like the hempathy yarn, but I'd rather do a little summer top in it. For that it would be the most perfect thing. I'll buy more for doing a summer top, that is knit up in Winter. That way it can be worn in late Winter, which passes for Spring here. We have no Spring to speak of.
Well, it's a great color! My mind is usually in summer. That would make a great summer top. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, the glove is smashing and such a beautiful color of green!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very lovely shade of green!
ReplyDeleteHope the blocking helps size it down - if not, try the clothes dryer ;-D
AR, thanks, and I like summer, too, but in late summer it usually gets unbearably hot, and I would like to "get out of Dodge"! The yarn, I think you'd be happy with Hempathy yarn made into a summer top. That little bit of texture is just right to give some shading to even a solid color. DD1 loves greens and lavendars and deep colors like the other hempathy bought at the same time and Hempathy comes in some lovely shades.
ReplyDeleteRissa and Karen, thanks for your comments about the glove. Rissa, I'll feel a lot better about it when it's been washed and yes Karen, I'll even boil it if I have to. lol
