Meanwhile, the test is back and I'm not allergic to gluten. YAY! That means I can have sandwiches again and pasta. Corn pasta and rice breads, I'm sorry to say this, just were not the same. :p Can you spell, "YUCK"?
Wow, I can eat chocolate chip cookies again, too.

Life is Good.
Thanks to Linda's Creations, for the image of the Grandmother who bakes.
Great to hear - enjoy those cookies - yeah!
ReplyDeleteThanks Karen. :o) Still wanting a cookie but did have a sandwich. Yum!
ReplyDeletehad that test too - waited also and know the absolute joy of being able to eat a sandwich again :D
ReplyDeleteYippee!!!
Funny, I just had a round of allergy tests too, and though I suspected gluten all along, not the culprit! Hmph. The list of no-no's came out quite long enough anyway.
ReplyDeleteI REALLY love reading your posts. They bring back the warm and fuzzies of knowing someone else out there thinks the way you do, and the way you wish everyone would. Keep at it!
Hi there Rho! So you had that finger drumming wait, too? Ah yes, a sandwich is the best reward. I could live on them. Fried egg sandwich for breakie this am. Yummy! I'm eating salads again. Whoot!
ReplyDeletebrown berry, You, too, with the test? It's an epidemic.
Oh those forbidden foods lists. I have a no, no list for two majors, and wheat would have left me with corn and rice, too boring. Also, glad you like the Earth Mother Tree Hugger in me, and I'm glad to find another kindred spirit. Thanks for the look in and your nice comments. =0) Love that cute little avatar of yours, btw.
A little late, but that sounds like reason for celebration! :)))tried those bread and they aren't quite for me either :) woohooo!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Pugknits!
ReplyDeleteYes, the words, "rice" and "bread" just don't seem to go together even in print, though cornbread, fresh from the oven is a thing of beauty, eh? Thanks for helping with the celebration. =o)
